The African Union Transition Mission to Somalia (ATMIS) has handed over the Maslah forward operating base (FBO) to the Somali National Army (SNA).
ATMIS personnel handed over the Maslah FBO to SNA troops on Saturday.
The handing over of the FBO was in line with the joint CONOPS and Somali Transition Plan (STP).
Abdinur Fidow and Souef Mohamed El-Amine attended the handing-over ceremony.
Fidow is the Somali State Minister for Defense while Souef is the Head of ATMIS.
