The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) supports the ongoing military offensives against Al-Shabaab in the country.
ATMIS mission leadership confirmed the organization’s support for the offensive operations on Friday, November 4.
The organization’s leadership confirmed this during a meeting with President Ahmed Sheikh Mohamed Islam Madobe of the regional state of Puntland.
The ATMIS leadership assured President Madobe of its commitment to the implementation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2628.
