The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) troops secured the supply route for humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Burhakaba.
ATMIS’ Sector III troops secured the route on Thursday.
They also helped to provide escorts to vehicles transporting humanitarian supplies to Burhakaba IDPs.
Vulnerable residents of Burhakaba benefited greatly from this valiant act by the ATMIS forces.
Additionally, the troops went ahead to distribute nutritional supplies and medicines to the children of Burhakaba.
