The victims of the Bardale plane crash, which took place earlier this week, have been buried in the Kenyan coastal town of Mombasa.
Those buried in Mombasa, in a low profile event, were the two pilots of the ill-fated plane from Kenya.
One of them was interred at Kikowani Cemetery while the other was laid to rest at Aldina Visram Cemetery.
The ceremony took place on Thursday night. A few members of the two families together with a section of politicians attended the ceremony too.
Further, the flight carrying the two bodies arrived in Nairobi on Thursday evening at around 5pm before taking off to Mombasa where it touched down at 6.30pm.
Kenya has asked Somali authorities to carry out thorough investigations to identify the cause of the plane crash, which killed six people.
Initial reports indicate that Ethiopian troops might have mistakenly shot it down under unclear circumstances.
