Beenebeene, the Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, held the discussions with Amb. Affey on Friday.
Amb. Affey is the Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Somalia.
Beenebeene expressed delight at the opportunity he had to meet and hold such important discussions with Amb. Affey.
They agreed on the importance of undertaking measures to guarantee the safety, dignity, and successful integration of the refugees and returnees with the rest of the community.
