The federal Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Planning chaired a meeting to prepare for the impending visit of an East African Community (EAC) Verification Team.
Mohamed Beenebeene, the planning minister, chaired the meeting in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
The preparatory meeting attracted relevant officials from different government agencies and departments.
They discussed the country’s preparedness to host the EAC Verification Team.
EAC is expected to deploy a team to Mogadishu to evaluate the country’s preparedness and readiness to join the regional economic bloc.
