A number of buildings and homes in Berbera are in ruins following a night of heavy rains and flash floods.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) provided details of the destruction that took place on Friday.
The Somaliland town was the latest one to experience the effect of the intense El Nino rains that have visited the Horn of Africa region since October.
Bridges are damaged, as per the update from the IFRC.
A team of dedicated personnel from the IFRC accompanied a number of volunteers in visiting victims of the flash floods.
