President Muse Bihi Abdi has called for increased cooperation between members of the public and the Somaliland Police Force (SLPF).
Bihi issued this call on November 7 as SPLF celebrated its 28th Anniversary.
The Somaliland President encouraged closer cooperation between the public and police force to improve security in the country.
Bihi spoke out against the unprovoked attacks against police officers while in the line of duty.
Further, he expressed his delight at the amazing work that police officers continue doing in the country.
Brigadier General Mohamed Adan Saqadi, the Chief Commander of the SLPF, addressed the force during the event.
In his speech, Brig. Gen. Saqadi highlighted the recent streamlining of police services.
He said that police officers were now more diligent in their work. Further, he hailed them for the improved rapport with members of the public.
