President Musa Bihi Abdi has mourned the death of Abdi Sultan Muhumed Gurey Noor, who is a former commander of both the police and prisons.
Noor passed away in the United States on April 16, 2020.
A statement issued by the Office of the Presidential Spokesperson, indicated that President Bihi had sent messages of condolences to the family, relatives, and friends of the deceased.
Furthermore, Bihi also sent similar messages to traditional leaders, community elders, and the nation at large noting that Noor’s death has robbed the country of a committed servant.
Noor had played an active role in rebuilding the nation and bringing members of the public together.
Bihi clarified that the late Noor had also been one of the country’s traditional leaders.
President Bihi asked Allah to let the soul of the departed leader to rest in paradise and for strength for the family that he left behind.
