President Muse Bihi Abdi has made a heroic return to Somaliland after a three-day official visit to Kenya.
Bihi’s tour was successful after striking several agreements with the Kenyan authorities.
First, Kenya agreed to open a consulate in Hargeisa by March 2021.
Consequently, the two Horn of Africa nations are scheduled to take their diplomatic relations to the next level, which helps Somaliland’s quest for international recognition.
Bihi arrived back in Somaliland on Wednesday, December 16.
The only fault with his trip is the souring of diplomatic relations between Nairobi and Mogadishu.
