The body of a young man was discovered on a Mogadishu beach.
Authorities have also released the identity of the young man whose body was discovered on the morning of Thursday, June 30.
The young man is Ali Abdirizak Mohamud.
He went missing on Tuesday. His family and friends then reported the situation to local authorities before launching a search.
Mohamud went missing while he was swimming at Lido Beach in Mogadishu.
Preliminary investigations indicate that he died while swimming.
