Several hospitals in Burao and Ainabo received tons of medical items as donations from international partners.
The donations were from a diaspora organization in Finland.
A communiqué from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said that the donation was a joint effort between its Somalia office, HODECO, and the Finland organization.
In the communiqué, IOM mentioned that the 900 different medical items would be donated to hospitals in Burao and Ainabo.
The supplies included hospital furniture, sterilization products, and equipment for persons with disabilities.
Furthermore, Oog MHC would receive some of the supplies too for strengthening the quality and delivery of excellent health services in the region.
