The Deputy Chief of the Burundi National Defense Force (BNDF) is in Somalia on a working visit.
Lt. Gen. Jean Paul Habimana arrived in Somalia on Friday.
Brig. Gen. Abbas Amin Ali, his Somali counterpart, was at the Aden Adde International Airport to welcome him.
Maj. Gen. Jean Claude Niyiburana was at the airport to receive him too.
Niyiburana is the Commander of the Burundian contingent serving as part of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
Several Somali, Burundian, and ATMIS military officials also received him.
