An improvised explosive device (IED) attack has left scores of people dead and many others injured in Kismayo.
Eyewitnesses and security agencies confirmed the incident that took place on February 4 in Kismayo, the capital of the Jubbaland regional state.
Apparently, the incident occurred on Friday afternoon.
According to witnesses, a minibus ran over the IED just on the outskirts of Jubbaland’s administrative state.
All those who died were in the minibus at the time of the incident.
