Central Somalia could experience heavy rainfall in the next 10 days.
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) made this announcement through its Climate Prediction and Application Center (ICPAC).
ICPAC announced that the heavy rainfall would not be limited to Somalia only.
Instead, South-Western Kenya and South-Western Ethiopia are in line to receive heavy rainfall in the same period.
According to ICPAC, these regions could face up to 100mm of rainfall.
