The chairperson of the recently appointed committee investigating the situation in Garbaharey held a meeting with members of the Somali Political Dialogue.
Omar Mohamed is the chairman of the 7-member committee that Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble appointed a few days ago.
Prime Minister Roble expects the committee to identify the problems preventing elections for House of the People (Lower House) seats in Garbaharey.
Afterward, the committee would then recommend the most appropriate solutions.
Mohamed met with the representatives of the Somali Political Dialogue on Monday, March 1 in Mogadishu.
Garbaharey is Jubbaland’s second voting center.
Mohamed listened to the ideas that the Somali Political Dialogue members had to share with him regarding the Garbaharey situation.
