China reaffirmed its commitment in supporting the state-building process in Somalia.
This emerged on Wednesday during a meeting between senior officials from the two brotherly nations in Mogadishu.
The meeting between Somalia’s Minister of Defence, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, and Chinese Ambassador Wang Yu focused on reinforcing the bilateral relationship between Somalia and China, particularly in the area of defense.
They discussed ways to collaborate on Somalia’s state-building efforts and enhancing the country’s defense capabilities.
This partnership aims to support Somalia’s long-term stability and security goals through cooperation and capacity-building initiatives.
