China has vowed to support Somalia’s ongoing fight against Al-Shabaab terrorists.
Chinese President Xi Jinping said this when he held discussions with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The two leaders met in Riyadh on the sidelines of the ongoing China-Arab States Summit.
Further, President Jinping assured President Mohamud that China would help his administration to reconstruct Somalia.
China would enhance Somalia’s ability to maintain stability as well.
Traditionally, China and Somalia enjoy cordial diplomatic and bilateral relations with the global powerhouse financing projects in various sectors in the East African nation.
