A delegation from the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Secretariat in Zambia visited Somalia National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS).
The COMESA delegation visited the offices of SNBS in Mogadishu on Saturday, July 23.
During the visit, representatives of the two teams discussed wide-ranging issues.
Top on the list were discussions on the provision of comparable pricing and volume measures of gross domestic product (GDP).
They also discussed expenditure aggregates among countries within and across the region.
The visit by the delegation from the COMESA Secretariat marked the commencement of the activities of the 2022 International Comparison Program (ICP).
