The construction of an emergency operation center in Baidoa has been launched.
On Sunday, the Mahamuud Moallim laid the foundation stone for the construction of the center.
Moallim, the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA), was in the company of Abdinasir Abdi Arush.
Arush is the regional Minister of Humanitarian Affairs in the Southwest state.
