Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) yet again ranked Somalia the worst country for journalists in the world.
On October 28, CPJ published its 2020 Global Impunity Index, which listed Somalia in the first position worldwide.
According to the report, 26 journalists were murdered in various parts of the East African nation. Sadly, their killers were never arrested.
The murders remain unsolved.
Somalia finished ahead of countries such as Syria, Iraq, and South Sudan, which finished immediately below the Horn of Africa nation.
CPJ stated that it was sad for authorities in the country to ignore the plight of journalists.
