Dahabshil, one of the largest money transfer businesses in Somalia, funded the construction of a new mosque for Somalis at Kakuma Refugee Camp.
The construction of the mosque is already underway.
Confirmation of the funding from Dahabshil was announced on Friday.
For a long time, the Somali community at the refugee settlement lacked a proper mosque to conduct their prayers.
