Daljir Media has condemned Puntland authorities for assaulting its Editor-in-Chief violently.
The media house issued a press release dated January 11 condemning the violence that was meted against Abdifatah Omar Geeddi.
Daljir accused Puntland Presidential Guard of committing the attack and assault.
It added that Geeddi had not committed any crime but was assaulted and attacked while performing his daily duties.
The attack against Geeddi took place at one of the busiest roads in Bosaso.
Daljir reminded Puntland that the pursuit of democratic governance would not be possible with such “violent acts and intimidations against members of the public.”
