DANAB commandos killed dozens of Al-Shabaab terrorists during an operation carried out in Hiiraan region on Thursday.
The commandos, who are part of the Somali National Army (SNA), killed scores of terrorists belonging to the Al-Shabaab militia group near Mora-Erri, a village in Hiiraan region.
They carried out the successful operation with support from the United States military.
US Africa Command (AFRICOM) supported the DANAB commandos with airstrikes to disenfranchise the terrorists in Mora-Erri.
