The death toll from the ongoing floods in Bardhere district has risen to seven.
Reports from the region indicate that authorities discovered more bodies on Friday.
Three of the dead are from the same family.
Mursal M. Khaliif, a federal Member of Parliament, confirmed the fresh deaths.
Khaliif added that the floods swept away many homes while families slept.
