Several people died when a bomb exploded near the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
The incident took place on Wednesday, May 11 in the morning.
Sources revealed that the bomb exploded at the KM4 checkpoint, which leads to the international airport in the nation’s capital.
The explosion was a bit disconcerting as presidential candidates were making their way to the venue where they are scheduled to present their manifestos to parliamentarians.
Lawmakers present their manifestos before House of the People and Senate legislators on May 11-12.
According to eyewitnesses, around four people died in the morning explosion.
