The federal Minister of Defense visited the Somali National Army (SNA) troops on the frontlines of east Galgadud.
Defense Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur was in the region on Monday.
He offered words of encouragement to soldiers in the region who are engaged in the ongoing offensives against Al-Shabaab terrorists.
Nur commended the bravery of the soldiers and the sacrifices they have made to secure the country.
The minister assured them of victory in the fight against Al-Shabaab insurgents in the region and elsewhere in the country.
