A delegation from Save the Children visited the leader of the regional state of Puntland in Garowe.
The delegation, which was under the leadership of Gabriella Waaijman, visited President Said Abdullahi Deni on Thursday, September 8.
Waaijman is the organization’s Global Humanitarian Director.
During the meeting, the Save the Children team discussed various issues with President Deni.
Some of the issues they put a lot of emphasis on included the ongoing drought in the region. They spoke about development projects in the region too.
