A delegation of parliamentarians from the United Kingdom arrived in Somaliland on an official visit.
The delegation of parliamentarians, diplomats, and journalists mostly comprises those advocating for the recognition of Somaliland as an independent state from Somalia.
Tim Loughton and Alexander Stafford led the UK delegation.
They were received at Hargeisa’s Egal International Airport by Rooda Jama Elmi, the Somaliland Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
They are primed for series of meetings and discussions with senior Somaliland government officials.
