President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland has called for an urgent end to the electoral impasse facing Somalia.
Deni was speaking during the ongoing Somali Partnership Forum (SPF).
The forum kicked off on Monday, December 7 in Mogadishu.
President Deni addressed the forum via video since he had informed the organizers that he would not attend it in person.
Deni refused to attend the meeting until his concerns are addressed.
President Ahmed Islam Madobe of Jubbaland also refused to attend until his concerns regarding Gedo region are addressed too.
