President Said Abdullahi Deni has congratulated the senators who were elected in the Upper House polls held earlier this week.
On August 13, President Deni had a meeting with the 11 new senators.
He expressed belief and hope that the new senators would represent the regional state properly at the 11th Upper House.
Furthermore, President Deni also invited members of the Federal Election Implementation Team (FEIT) to the dinner.
Puntland’s Elections Implementation Team also sent its representatives to the function.
Deni commended them all for the stellar job and making sure that Puntland becomes the first regional state in Somalia to hold elections for all its Senators.
