President Said Abdullahi Deni of the regional state of Puntland has expressed deep concern over the decision to exhume bodies buried in a Mogadishu cemetery.
Deni expressed his anger while addressing Puntland’s regional parliament on Saturday.
During his annual speech to parliament, President Deni said that the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) is wrong to make such a move.
He appealed to the country’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to empathize with those whose loved ones were buried at the cemetery.
President Deni stated that there is enough space in Somalia which is 70 percent uninhabited.
