President Said Abdullahi Deni hosted the newly elected leadership of Puntland Media Guild to a diner in Garowe.
Deni met the media guild on February 28.
He hosted the leadership at State House in Garowe, the administrative capital of the semiautonomous Somalia state.
President Deni offered his congratulations to the newly elected leadership while urging them to build the capacity of all their colleagues.
Furthermore, he encouraged journalists to play their role in strengthening the unity of the people of Puntland, and Somalia in general.
The President advised journalists that Puntland and all other parts of Somalia would struggle to develop without their active involvement.
