President Said Abdullahi Deni has opened the 47th Session of the House of Representatives on Sunday, October 25.
A communiqué from the Puntland State House confirmed that President Deni was in parliament to welcome back the parliamentarians.
While reopening the new session, Deni reminded parliamentarians of the huge task that is ahead of them.
He urged them to conduct their affairs with the welfare of the people of Puntland at the back of their minds.
Ahmed E. Osman Karaash, the Vice President of Puntland, accompanied President Deni to the event.
Similarly, Abwan Abdirashid Yusuf Jibril, the Speaker of Puntland’s Regional Parliament, also accompanied the president in this official function.
