Denmark has transferred its Ambassador to Kenya and Somalia to Afghanistan.
Ambassador Mette Knudsen broke the news earlier today on Twitter.
She said it had been a “privilege” to serve her country in the region.
Ambassador Knudsen also represented her country in Eritrea and Seychelles.
She served as the Danish Ambassador in the region for the past five years.
Knudsen expressed her gratitude to the “amazing people” of Kenya, Somalia, Eritrea, and Seychelles she met during her tour of duty.
