The Deputy Director of the Ethiopian spy agency has hailed the nation’s agreement with Somaliland saying that it is here to stay.
Deputy Director Sisay Tola of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) spoke on this matter on Sunday.
Tola said that Ethiopia was ready to reinforce the ongoing peaceful negotiations.
However, th NISS Deputy Director stated that such negotiationsust be based on the principle of give and take.
Tola reiterated the fact that Ethiopia will not cease aspiring to secure a seaport.
The NISS deputy leader added that Ethiopia had owned seaports for thousands of years and only stopped owning them over the course of the last three decades.
