The First Deputy Speaker of the House of the People (Lower House) visited Hiiraan region on Tuesday.
First Deputy Speaker Sadia Yassin Hajji Samatar visited the region clad in military attire.
She was in the region to offer Somali National Army (SNA) moral support as they proceed with the operations against Al-Shabaab.
Samatar was in the company of other federal government ministers as they toured Bulburde district in Hiiraan.
Abdirizak Mohamed and Khadija M. Diriye were with her.
Mohamed is the federal Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources while Diriye is in charge of the Ministry of Women and Human Rights Development.
