The discussion, which was on Thursday at Villa Somalia in Mogadishu, focused on enhancing this partnership to advance Somalia’s key priorities.
DiCarlo praised the Somali government’s progress, especially in combating Al-Shabaab, and reaffirmed the UN’s commitment to supporting Somalia’s goals, including efforts to achieve universal suffrage and strengthen democratic governance.
