Mohamed Diriye emerged victorious in the marathon held in Buuhoodle town.
The marathon, which was held on May 21, attracted over 40 runners.
Reports from the region indicate that the marathon was the brainchild of youths from Buuhoodle town.
Saturday’s event was held purposely to spread the message of peace.
