Mogadishu is currently hosting its first East African Community (EAC) Summit.
The Somali capital hosts a summit known as EACON 2024 whose theme is “Enhancing Regional Cooperation in the East African Community.”
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will deliver the keynote address on Monday while opening the summit officially.
The 2-day summit runs from June 24-25, 2024.
Participants at the summit will discuss ways of promoting regional integration, fostering collaboration, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge.
