Programs supported by the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) in Somalia will undergo extensive review this week.
Bihi Egeh, the Minister of Finance, launched the review on Sunday.
He stated that the inaugural review exercise would last the entire week.
Mohamed Beenebeene, the Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, attended the first day.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Somalia was present too.
During the review, they will assess progress made in collection of domestic revenue.
Other areas that are up for review include public finance management as well as the implementation of the national development plan.
Stakeholders will gather in Mogadishu for the exercise.
