Bihi Egeh says that Somalia must run a financial system that is not only vibrant but also transparent.
Egeh, the Minister of Finance, issued this call recently while chairing a meeting of the National Anti-Money Laundering Committee.
Members of the committee and all stakeholders reasserted their commitment to work together to protect the people and institutions of Somalia.
He added that Somalia needs “a vibrant and transparent financial system.”
In Egeh’s view, such a system is crucial for the security, investment, and economic development of the East African nation.
