Bihi Egeh co-chaired a meeting held to discuss investments in Somalia.
Egeh, the Minister of Finance, co-chaired the meeting that took place in London with several United Kingdom investors.
The investors present at the meeting were from the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Global.
UK officials at the discussions included Damon Bristow and Dirk Willem te Velde.
Bristow and te Velde serve as the Development Director at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Director of International Economic Development at ODI Global.
They met on the sidelines of the Global Food Security Summit in London.
Egeh informed the investors that Somalia’s development hinges on a number of factors that include investments, trade, and the creation of opportunities.
