Eight young Somalis killed in a suicide bombing attack on Gelato Divino restaurant on November 27, were laid to rest in Mogadishu.
The eight were buried in a somber ceremony in the nation’s capital on Saturday, November 28.
On Friday, a suicide bomber detonated a bomb attached to his body outside the busy restaurant, which is famous for its ice creams.
Eight men were killed in the incident while countless others were injured and rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
The eight young men were all in the midst of successful careers.
Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the latest incident in a series of terror attacks carried out against innocent civilians in different parts of the country.
