Electoral Talks to Resume on April 6 in Mogadishu

The electoral talks between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and the Federal Member States (FMS) will resume on April 6.

On Sunday, leaders from FGS and FMS held the talks for the second consecutive day.

At the end of the meeting, the leaders agreed to take a day off on Monday for consultations before reporting for further discussions on Tuesday.

President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble represent FGS at the meeting.

All the five regional state leaders showed up for this round of talks.

The Governor of Banadir Regional Administration, Omar Filish, who doubles as the Mayor of Mogadishu, joined them.
