The Ethiopian government has issued warrants of arrest for several men linked with Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF).
The warrants of arrest were for 76 officers affiliated with TPLF.
One of the officers is Colonel Gebregiabher Alemseged, a man accused of committing war crimes in Somalia.
Col. Alemseged is more commonly referred to as General Gebre.
Over the years, Gen. Gebre has made it a habit of showing up at press conferences held to discuss issues relating to Somalia.
The arrest warrants were issued in the wake of the ongoing battle in Tigray between Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) and TPLF in Tigray.
