Ethiopian Airlines has announced plans to increase its flights to Puntland.
Abdullahi Bille and Dhenge Boru agreed on this when they met in Addis Ababa on Saturday.
Bille, the Puntland Minister of Aviation and Transport, held discussions with Boru, who is Ethiopia’s State Minister of Transport.
Mesfin Tasew Bekele also attended the meeting in his capacity as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ethiopian Airlines.
Their meeting follows the previous one by Puntland officials who visited Ethiopia this week.
Puntland seems to be pursuing improved ties with Ethiopia after announcing that it no longer recognizes the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
