In a recent interview with State Media, Somalia’s Defence Minister, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, confirmed that Ethiopian warplanes were involved in airstrikes targeting Al-Shabaab militants in the HirShabelle State.
He described the operation as a joint effort between the Somali and Ethiopian armies, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the two nations in combating the militant group.
