EU Condemns Al-Shabaab Attack at ATMIS Base in Bulo Marer

The European Union has condemned Friday’s attack by Al-Shabaab terrorists at a military base in Bulo Marer.

A number of Ugandan soldiers serving under African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) lost their lives in the deadly attack.

The EU vowed to continue standing by Somalia and ATMIS in the ongoing offensives against terrorists in the country.

Further, it vowed to hold accountable every person or entity that has been responsible for the “heinous” attacks against Somalis and their partners.
