The former Governor of Hiiraan has warned of a resurgence of Al-Shabaab militants in liberated areas around the country.
Ex-Governor Ali Osman Jeyte warned authorities to be careful of the increased resurgence around the nation.
He warned that areas where the military obliterated Al-Shabaab fighters were now experiencing a return of the militants.
Specifically, Jeyte claims the resurgence was in areas liberated from Al-Shabaab in the last 12 months.
Jeyte urged the government not to stop the operations against Al-Shabaab.
